My posts have been few and far between. I’ve often said that a lot through the years. Not much has been going on. I’m still looking for work but the interviews are coming in more frequent. Its only a matter of time before someone wants me! lol. Anyways, the most recent notable thing to talk about in my life is Valentines day.

You know those people that say “you should love everyday” or “if you love someone you don’t need a day to show it”. That annoys me. Its not about showing love for this person this one day and forgetting about your significant other the rest of the year. Its just a little excuse to do a little more. You should be happy your living each day but that doesn’t mean you should not celebrate on your birthday.

On this day, she had school and I was back home applying for jobs and all that jazz. I figure its our first Valentines day together and we should spend it together. So I got some flowers and the heart shaped chocolate box and mozied on up to Davis to surprise her. She gets home around 330 so I tried getting there a little before. I call her just to confirm where she is. Shes across the street! I make a super sharp turn just so she wouldn’t see me and run to her apartment. She sees me and starts to tear up a little. Its always rewarding to make her smile. 

We spent the day cooking, catching up on shows, and relaxing. It was a beautiful simple day.
